Adult Pottery Class Schedule

Ongoing Intermediate Weekly Pottery Classes

You may ask, “What happens after I take the beginner class and I want more, more, more?”

The ten week session is purely an introduction to wheel-throwing pottery.  Most of our beginners get bitten by the pottery bug and continue to take classes for years. Students who wish to continue weekly pottery classes after their first 10-week session may do so on a monthly basis after completion of the introductory 10-week session. Additionally, after completing 10 weeks of wheel-throwing, Outlaw Pottery offers hand-building workshop opportunities to wheel-throwing students during their regular weekly class time.  Classes for the following month must be paid for by the Friday of the last week in the current month in order to hold your seat in class.

What have our ongoing students made at Outlaw Pottery School?  Mugs, bowls, serving platters, chip and dip platters, sugar bowls, cookie jars, tea pots, ring jugs, face jugs, fish sculptures, leaf platters, decorative wall hangings, vases, pitchers, flower pots, utensil holders, fairy houses, luminaries, candle holders, gingerbread houses, snowmen, jack-o-lanterns and more! Take classes at Outlaw Pottery, and you can learn to make a wide variety of pottery too!  The sky is the limit!

How to Register for Adult Classes

Are you ready to get your hands dirty?  All classes require pre-registration and pre-payment.  You are literally paying for your seat in class.  Your payment ensures that the seat is reserved for you.  We don’t overbook classes, so please call us at 321-292-0762 to schedule a time to come in to tour our pottery school, get an orientation and let us check our schedule to see how many seats are available at which times.  Wheel-throwing pottery, especially, can be physically and mentally challenging.  Tuition and material fees are non-refundable, so if you have never done it before, getting an orientation is always a good idea so you know what to expect and what is expected of you.

Come on down to Outlaw Pottery to SEE what makes our unique program special.  There are no strangers at Outlaw Pottery... just friends we haven’t met yet. We look forward to meeting you.

We will teach students how to transform balls of clay into bowls, cups and mugs on the pottery

wheel.  Students will learn wedging, centering, pulling, trimming and glazing during this session.

This class is also good for those who have tried pottery before but need a refresher course.*

You get the most hands-on attention with Outlaw Pottery! Make no bones about it, throwing pots

is hard.  But we make it fun, and our program is designed to give you personal attention because

our classes are small and cozy.

*Intermediate Potters may also take the 10 week session, and we will tailor it to your experience.

Our program is unique because we let you begin when your want to begin.  Although we often

offer programs with specific start and end dates for people who like deadlines, we are also

flexible enough that we let you determine your own start date if you prefer.  Please note that the

10 week session is 10 calendar weeks.  Pre-payment in full is required to register.

Tuition for 10 weeks is $250, plus materials (see below).  That’s equivalent to

only $25 per week!

All fees are non-refundable. No credit will be given for missed classes.

Child care is not available.  “Watchers” are not permitted:  Everyone in attendance

must be a paying student.
